goodwill finds; living room artwork
Colorful art for your living room is cheap and moving fast at Goodwill in Henrietta! Each piece is $2.99.
goodwill finds!
If anyone is looking for artwork for a child's room or for a nursery you need to head out to the Henrietta Goodwill store across from South Town plaza. Each piece is $4.99 or less and is extremely unique.
First up, nutcracker series. These three pieces would be great for a little boy's nursery.
I would definitely incorporate these images above a crib and have lots of fun with different fabrics. See below:
It's so whimsical and playful. You could swap out the floral rug for stripes or polka dots to make it a little more mascueline. Each piece was $4.99.
This little ballerina number was only @2.99!
Lastly, this old school ABC poster is adorable for either a nursery or a playroom. Price tag? $4.99.
Hopefully they are still there if you need them! Good luck.

high chair thrift find
If you've ever researched high chairs before you understand what a struggle it can be! Functionality is key, but is it too much to ask that they be pretty?? I love the classic look of the wooden ones instead of the plastic ones, but they can be reallllly expensive.
Price tag? $4.99.....Shelf is on a track and pulls off easily to get my daughter in and out. Only downfall?
My top picks:
The Tripp Trapp is a little too modern for my tastes. The Svan I think is pretty but both carry a price tag over $200..highway robbery if you ask me.
So randomly browsing one of my favorite thrift stores I came across this diamond in the rough:

Yeahhhhh. Pretty ugly. Luckily, I found this great fabric:
The plan? Well, I dropped off the old cushion with the new VINYL fabric ($9.95 per yard) to my seamstress. And I play on painting the highchair this weekend a brownish black. Final reveal to come! Stay tuned.

i have to admit i'm obsessed
Yes! I'll admit it. I'm obsessed with needle point as home decor. As I put together the evidence, I realized just how bad it really is :)
Kitchen ones: "Poppy Seeds," and "Chives" were actually handkerchiefs that were $1.99 a piece.
This one...I'm not too sure about. I bought it on a whim at ABVI Goodwill out in Irondequoit for our son's room. I had to redo the room quickly, but now that it's complete I am thinking about going in a different direction.

Found this beauty at ABVI Goodwill for $2.99 out in Victor, NY. The green is a chartreuse and the pink...well there are splashes of pinks in all different shades throughout my home.

Lastly, this one is in our master bedroom. The colors here look a liiittttle crazy, but they are definitely muted.
Sadly, I don't see myself stopping anytime soon...if I have extra's I'd be glad to showcase them for anyone who'd like them.
